POTD: Details

Imagine the kind of heat that’s dusty, that’s dry, that settles into your skin only if you’ve been out for a long time. Imagine the whisper the wind blows, the gossip of birds flying overhead, the quietest crack of a hundred Argan nuts, and the welcoming chatter of the women working at this tiny Argan oil factory. And imagine the setting of this workplace:

It’s not always easy to photograph a place that has so much going on.

I love this shot simply for its novelty, and its appropriately earthy color palette.

Photography tip of the day?

Sometimes the most memorable way to photograph a place is to focus on its details. You’ll almost always find something incredibly unique if you take a few minutes to look around, and it’s these details that often tell the greatest stories.
